ABOUT

ABOUT HOPE IN THE MOUNTAINS

Hope in the Mountains provides hope and a healing environment for people in recovery by treating each day as a promise of our future, not as a consequence of our past.

We chose our name, Hope in the Mountains, to reflect our mission. To bring hope to communities and families affected by the scourge of addiction. We do this by helping people with addictions like you on a journey to a lifetime of recovery. We’ll help you reclaim positive personal values and your sense of dignity and self-respect. Our treatment focuses on the following values: Respect, Integrity, Dedication, Accountability, Empowerment, Humility and Compassion.

Hope in the Mountains takes great pride in the intense level of care we provide our guests. Our services are both varied and specialized. Every person is different. Our goal is to find the treatment plan that meets your unique needs. We make a commitment to serve you that extends to the end of your treatment and beyond, because your journey never stops so neither can ours.

SLIDING FEE DISCOUNT PROGRAM

Hope in the Mountains strives to provide exceptional behavioral health care services to patients and their families regardless of economic status. Our commitment is to promote healthy lifestyle, efficient and caring service, and the overall well-being of the area and people we serve. Thus, we offer a sliding fee discount for behavioral health visits.

PROGRAM DETAILS
Hope in the Mountains (HITM) accepts all patients regardless of their insurance or financial status. We offer a wide range of services to our patients through our Sliding-Fee Discount Program.  Click here to view our Sliding Fee Scale. This schedule is reviewed and revised annually by the HITM Board of Directors. The Sliding-Fee Scale is used to determine financial assistance “discounts” based on the family or individual’s income and family size.  Sliding-fee discounts are based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. In order for a patient to participate in the Sliding-Fee Discount Program, the patient must complete the Sliding-Fee Discount Program application and provide required proof of income.  It is the responsibility of the patient to provide the evidence of eligibility to participate in this program. To do so, patients should bring at least one of the following to the health center: •  Current year’s 1040 tax form •  A pay check stub •  An unemployment stub •  Statement of income from housing or food stamp program If none of the above documents are available for review, other forms of verification may be accepted; patients should contact the Administrative Assistant for more information.
